Wash your gold jewellery in mild soap and rinse well with water. Dry thoroughly and polish with a soft cloth.

Note: Stay away from jewellery cleaners and antibacterial soaps which might make your gold- plated jewellery tarnish more quickly. Anything plated will eventually tarnish with time and wear. Store your jewellery separately in small cloth bags, or even better in acid-free, airtight plastic bags or boxes. This will help you to avoid, as far as possible, unnecessary scratches and too rapid oxidation.
